CEO's Office
Compensation: $190-250K + annual bonus eligible + equity Location: Washington, DC. Our in-office team comes together to collaborate in our Dupont Circle office Tuesday through Thursday and works from home Monday and Friday. You can, of course, work in the office more than that if you want. About Us: Inspiration Mobility is the first Electrification Accelerator TM - a company wholly committed to accelerating the electrification of transportation in North America to deliver rapid, cost-effective decarbonization. Inspiration provides tailored, turnkey solutions that enable our customers and partners to achieve their business and sustainability goals as quickly as possible, with minimal risk. With the only EV-first Fleet Management Company (eFMC TM ) and a turnkey developer of high-speed, commercial-grade charging infrastructure, Inspiration is your one partner to simplify fleet electrification - delivering best-in-class EV procurement and leasing, EV-first fleet management services, and comprehensive charging solutions. What’s In It for You? Consider this the perfect CEO-in-training role. You will report to and work closely with Josh to act as a force multiplier for him with both internal and external stakeholders. You will have unfettered access to Josh, will attend meetings with him, and will see first-hand the inner workings of our quickly-scaling business. After 2-3 years in this role, you should have the skills, track record, and judgment to step directly into a leadership role at Inspiration, likely leading a division or launching a new business, or elsewhere, including starting your own venture. Your Mission: Your mission is to “mind meld” with our CEO Josh Green so effectively that: i) you can represent his perspective and judgment in both internal and external meetings, earning the respect of your teammates and external partners, and ii) he can step away from certain parts of the business to focus on the most critical, value-enhancing activities, feeling confident that the combination of you plus others can fully execute with minimal or no assistance. As our inaugural Chief of Staff, you will help Josh manage the team and organization, serve as a trusted sounding board to him regarding strategic and operational issues, accelerate progress with key customers and partners, communicate with current and prospective investors and lenders, and lead or co-lead CEO-sponsored “special projects” with the ability to transform the business. Your Key Responsibilities: This is a highly dynamic, fast-paced, and challenging role that will require long hours, excellent communication and organization, and a sense of humor. Though your priorities will change from time-to-time depending on the needs of the business, your responsibilities will include: Developing trusting and meaningful relationships with Josh, our leadership team, and those across our organization. With time, you’ll do the same with our key partners, customers, and Board members. Participating in internal and external meetings with Josh, managing preparation ahead of time and follow-up afterwards to ensure high levels of accountability across the board, making communication more efficient and effective. Playing an active role in strategic planning, goal setting, and performance management, and helping our leaders and team ensure we are hitting our goals out of the park. Managing, and in some cases leading, high-priority initiatives, including special projects, drafting and/or reviewing presentations for meetings with Board members, partners, key customers and clients, and other constituencies. Serving as a trusted thought partner and advisor across the company, representing Josh’s perspective in meetings and interactions he is unable to attend, monitoring the health of our organization, and making specific recommendations to Josh on what’s working well and anything that should change. Who You Are: You have more than seven (7) years of work experience – at least three (3) of which were spent as a strategy consultant at a top-tier consulting firm, like Bain, BCG, McKinsey, etc. You are well-versed in finance, investing and/or lending, and ideally have finance, banking or asset management experience at some point in your career. You have an MBA from a top program. You feel strongly about making an impact in your work, and ideally have experience in sustainability, clean energy and/or energy transition. You are a strategic thinker who has proven themself as a trusted thought-partner to other senior leaders and who operates with the utmost confidentiality. You are a thoughtful, clear, and persuasive communicator - regardless of whether you’re conveying your ideas in a slide deck, presenting at a meeting, composing an email, or just chatting on the fly. You are the consummate ball juggler and enjoy “bringing order to chaos.” You are highly organized, excellent at managing time, have strong project management skills, keen attention to detail, and a demonstrated track record of rolling up your sleeves and pitching in, no matter how large or small the task. You build authentic, trusting relationships, from which you’re able to connect the dots across people and functions both internally and externally, and break down silos to help us better operate like a well-oiled machine. You naturally thrive on matching problems with strategic solutions wherever you see them. You are most engaged when operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. You are energized and passionate about our mission to contribute to climate solutions by accelerating the transition to electric vehicles. You are inspired by and embody Inspiration’s core values. Our Core Values: Inspiration’s culture is based on a shared respect for our core values. Fit with these values is a critical component of our hiring process and this role, and employees are expected to demonstrate these behaviors in their interactions with colleagues, customers, and all stakeholders. An assessment of how each employee has exhibited our values is an important part of our performance review process. Our Commitment to You: Inspiration embraces diversity and equal opportunity in a serious way. We are committed to building a team that represents a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and skills. The more inclusive we are, the greater our impact will be #J-18808-Ljbffr
