Position Summary:
Risk Management's Administrative Assistant performs specific duties as assigned by the Supervisor and various other duties as may be appropriate to the department and Agency. The Administrative Assistant ensures that all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner. Discretion must be exercised in handling written and verbal material, which may be confidential, and of a personal nature. The Administrative Assistant demonstrates initiative, attention to detail, sound judgment, and thoroughness.
Responsibilities Include:
- Assists General Counsel and other Risk Management team members as needed.
- Updates and maintains Risk Management's PaperSave system.
- Track and ensure licensing requirements, and policy and procedure manuals are up to date and accurate.
- Attend scheduled staff meetings, supervision, and on-going training.
- All required trainings, certifications and licensure must be kept current in accordance with applicable licensing and accreditation regulations and standards
- Respect the privacy of clients and hold in confidence all information obtained during the client's treatment. All client-related documents should be handled in accordance with Agency guidelines on confidential material.
- Minimum Bachelor of Arts or Sciences
- Sensitivity in relating to persons of varying backgrounds and demonstrate ability to work with diverse groups of people possessing various strengths, aptitudes and abilities.
- Ability to perform job responsibilities with a high degree of initiative and independent judgment.
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills and effective interpersonal skills.
- Practical and creative problem solving skills.
- 1 - 3 years office experience preferred.
- Four weeks of paid vacation, twelve paid sick days, ten paid legal holidays, and four religious holidays
