Position Summary
Reporting to the Associate Director of Enrollment Marketing & Analytics, the Assistant Director plays a pivotal role in the creation of content for graduate and professional education programs. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining content across several institutional channels, ensuring alignment with enrollment marketing strategy and contributing to the achievement of institutional enrollment goals. The Graduate and Professional Education department will collaborate with University Marketing and Communications to ensure strategic brand alignment and cohesive messaging across all campaigns.

Principal Accountabilities
Create compelling content to attract and engage prospective students and to support current students, including email campaigns, print collateral, social media, newsletters, photos, videos, and web content.
Improve and maintain sophisticated drip campaigns for prospects, applicants, and matriculated students in Slate
CRM
aimed at increasing conversion and yield. Track engagement and analytics on campaigns, providing progress reports and ideas for improvement.
Working with the Associate Director, establish a standardized calendar of messaging for graduate and professional education channels, identifying key dates in the enrollment cycle such as application opening/closures, event follow-up’s, transactional reminders, and course registration opening/closures.
In collaboration with recruitment staff, oversee event management portal, form development, and associated messaging in Slate
CRM
to maximize student attendance, engagement, and conversion at both in-person and virtual events. Serve as technical support for any virtual events hosted by the team.
In conjunction with the Executive Director and Associate Director, work with third-party marketing partners to develop and implement content for both paid and organic media campaigns. Work with key division and campus stakeholders to review and finalized this content.
Manage routine maintenance and updates to content on graduate and professional education webpages, including program updates and application deadlines.
Work with faculty, staff, and students to identify opportunities for multimedia content such as profiles, features, and “slices of life” for distribution across a variety of channels.
Qualifications
This position is best filled by an individual with Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field, and two to three years of marketing, within higher education industry preferred.
Demonstrated ability to create content in a variety of mediums (including email campaigns, print collateral, social media, photos, video, web content, etc.) to engage and retain target audience.
Knowledge of graphic design and email marketing.
Proven experience understanding data, systems, business analytics, metrics, and KPIs to make data-informed decisions.
Excellent oral and written communication and story-telling skills
Knowledge of Slate
CRM
and communication flow system experience preferred.
Demonstrated ability to meet strict deadlines and respond effectively to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to support both the planning and staffing of person and virtual events to maximize prospective student attendance, engagement and conversion.
Ability to build and foster collaborative relationships with faculty, staff and students to assist with the development of multimedia content to showcase graduate and professional education programs.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
