Job Description:

The Aviation Security Specialist supports the global aviation security programs (i.e., regulatory, network, training, and quality assurance). This position assists in the development and dissemination of aviation security procedures, training materials, quality assurance, balanced scorecards, reports, and aviation security systems. He/She provides support for global aviation security partners internally and externally.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Assists with the development of flow diagrams and info-graphics depicting process and report data to support presentations and program documentation.
  • Assists and coordinates with corporate aviation security vendor on the development of aviation security training materials, including e-learning modules, job aids, videos, and reference documents to result in successful publication.
  • Assists with the development of aviation security risk review presentations, quality assurance processes, and implementation of governance capabilities.
  • Gathers and distributes reports and status summaries to keep senior management up-to-date on new developments and decisions.
  • Supports tasks such as data analysis to highlight key areas of concern for aviation security risk and compliance, aviation security reports (e.g., training status reports, regulatory diagrams, audit schedules, audit finding reports, etc.), meeting minutes,
  • Administers the aviation security SharePoint website, including access control, document posting, version control, and project reporting to ensure appropriate document upload and retrieval.
  • Responds to various types of inquiries (e.g., procedural, training, systems, etc.) from region aviation security partners to ensure continuity of processes and procedures.
  • Collaborates with corporate and region aviation security partners to produce key performance indicators and produces key communication messages for dissemination.
  • Directly reports to an Aviation Security Manager
Knowledge and Skills
  • Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Persuasive communication skills with ability to clearly and effectively articulate insights to various levels of management
  • Ability to challenge existing practices and explore new alternatives
  • Ability to take concrete and abstract business problems and derive analytical solutions
  • Bachelor's Degree - Preferred
