Position Summary:
The Canine Care Specialists are responsible for ensuring that all visitors and their dogs are enjoying the park in a safe, friendly, and inviting atmosphere. At times, multiple specialists will be present in the park, and it is essential that they collaborate effectively as a team to uphold Off Leash standards. A passion for working with dogs and a strong ability to resolve issues involving both humans and their canine companions are vital for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure safety: maintain a secure environment for both dogs and humans.
  • Interact positively with guests and their pets to foster a welcoming experience.
  • Oversee the cleanliness of both indoor and outdoor communal areas, in collaboration with the grounds staff.
  • Exhibit enthusiasm for engaging with others and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Welcome and assist in the check-in process for Off Leash guests and their dogs.
  • Stay alert and attentive throughout the shift.
  • Identify dog behaviors that may lead to potential incidents.
  • Address inappropriate dog behavior with appropriate redirection and correction techniques.
  • Support the seamless execution of both private and public events.
  • Proactively inspect indoor and outdoor areas for cleanliness and safety issues.
  • Gain knowledge about canine behavior to ensure the safety of all guests.
  • Monitor and replenish dog waste disposal stations.
  • Assist with opening and closing tasks as necessary, including resetting furniture, cleaning turf, restocking supplies, and managing technology setups.

Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal abilities.
  • Positive demeanor.
  • Comfortable using technology.
  • Demonstrated work ethic and integrity.
  • Ability to work in an environment with off-leash dogs.
