Building Engineer - HVAC Specialist- Maintain, diagnose, and troubleshoot a variety of HVAC systems- Repair and maintain fan coil units, building loops, pumps, heat exchangers, and forced air components (VAV, circuit setters, controls)- Identifying maintenance tasks or risks- Coordinating with HVAC service contractors with repairs and installations- Document maintenance activities using CMMS- Basic electrical, carpentry, painting, plumbing, misc. maintenance activities when needed7:00AM to 3:30PM Monday through Friday. Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Commercial or large facility HVAC maintenance experience required- EPA (Type 1, Type 2, Universal) not required but strongly preferred. Candidate should have some formal training in HVAC maintenance. - Prior facility maintenance experience in a school, hospital, or corporate campus strongly preferred. New graduates not likely to be considered. - Must be willing to perform maintenance tasks not directly related to HVAC such as painting, flooring, plumbing, electrical. - High level of professionalism and customer service- Capable of working in a dynamic environment.
