Building Automation Field Specialist Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Automation Field Specialist Supervisor to lead our team of installation specialists and commissioning technicians responsible for new construction building automation systems.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise, train, and mentor the Systems Specialist team, setting goals, monitoring performance, and conducting employee review meetings.
- Schedule and assign installation and commissioning tasks to the team, ensuring schedules are maintained and projects proceed according to plans, job specifications, and cost estimates.
- Maintain and improve planned and booked margins for technical support programs.
- Direct and supervise the development and use of project plans in monitoring and controlling the execution of work and review customer feedback to ensure customer retention and account growth goals are achieved.
- Maintain relationships between sales, engineering, and execution teams to manage changes and discrepancies, minimizing cost and delay throughout the estimating and execution phases of projects.
- Accountable for the profit and loss of projects assigned to the operations team and serve as a local leader and customer representative for the operations team.
- Support project profitability through cost-containment procedures and processes and travel between branch locations as needed.
- High school diploma or state-recognized GED.
- Experience with HVAC/Building Automation Controls, commercial electrical (low voltage) systems, or commercial mechanical systems.
- Project Management, Engineering, or Mentoring/Leading/Supervising experience.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to travel 15%.
- Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
- Bachelor's degree.
- 3+ years of experience in training, mentoring, scheduling, and supervising employees responsible for System Automation/Building Automation startup.
- 5+ years' experience in engineering or project management.
- Knowledge of design, startup, programming, integration, documentation, and commissioning building automation systems.
