As a Supervisor for Building Automation Solutions, your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing, training, and mentoring the Systems Specialist team; establishing objectives, evaluating performance, conducting employee reviews, and organizing formal training sessions. You will guide and assist the team in planning and executing construction projects to completion.
  • Coordinating and delegating installation and commissioning tasks to ensure adherence to schedules and project specifications.
  • Enhancing and maintaining planned and booked margins for technical support initiatives.
  • Directing the development and utilization of project plans to monitor and control work execution, while reviewing customer feedback to achieve retention and growth goals.
  • Facilitating collaboration between sales, engineering, and execution teams to manage changes and discrepancies, minimizing costs and delays throughout project phases.
  • Supporting project profitability through effective cost-containment strategies and traveling between branch locations as necessary.

Qualifications that will make a difference:

Basic Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience with HVAC/Building Automation Controls, low voltage electrical systems, or commercial mechanical systems.
  • Background in Project Management, Engineering, or supervisory roles.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to travel up to 15%.
  • Must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid driver's license with minimal violations.
  • Authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Over 3 years of experience in training, mentoring, scheduling, and supervising employees in System Automation/Building Automation startups.
  • More than 5 years of experience in engineering or project management.
  • Familiarity with design, startup, programming, integration, documentation, and commissioning of building automation systems.
