As a Supervisor of Building Automation Solutions, your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing, training, and mentoring the Systems Specialist team; establishing objectives, evaluating performance, conducting employee reviews, and organizing formal training sessions.
- Coordinating and assigning installation and commissioning tasks to ensure adherence to schedules and project specifications.
- Enhancing and maintaining planned and booked margins for technical support initiatives.
- Directing the development and application of project plans to monitor and control work execution, while reviewing customer feedback to achieve retention and growth goals.
- Facilitating collaboration between sales, engineering, and execution teams to manage changes and discrepancies, minimizing costs and delays throughout project phases.
- Ensuring project profitability through effective cost-containment strategies and traveling between branch locations as necessary.
To excel in this role, you will need the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent GED.
- Experience with HVAC/Building Automation Controls, low voltage electrical systems, or commercial mechanical systems.
- Background in Project Management, Engineering, or Supervisory roles.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to travel up to 15%.
- Must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid driver's license with minimal violations.
- Authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without company sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- 3+ years of experience in training, mentoring, scheduling, and supervising employees in System Automation/Building Automation startup.
- 5+ years of experience in engineering or project management.
- Knowledge of design, startup, programming, integration, documentation, and commissioning of building automation systems.
