We are seeking a Manager, Corporate Accounting to join our corporate office located in Jacksonville, FL. This is a hybrid opportunity with an option to work 3 days in the office and 2 days working remotely. As the Corporate Accounting Manager, you will manage the annual and quarterly G&A budget and reforecast processes, alongside the month-end and quarter-close processes for corporate entities, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of corporate balance sheets, reconciliations, and roll forwards. You will prepare reconciliations and supporting schedules to support footnotes in SEC filings , maintain schedules in accordance with US GAAP, and oversee recurring corporate journal entries. Your responsibilities also include managing corporate office lease files, fixed asset ledgers, and general and administrative (G&A) expenses, providing detailed variance analyses and monthly reports while supporting department leads. Additionally, this position will administer the Concur Expense and Travel Program & US Bank Card Program and support treasury management functions. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, effectively managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining high attention to detail. What You’ll Be Doing: Month End and Quarter Close Prepare corporate balance sheets and income statements, perform related reconciliations, and manage roll forwards, including the corporate-level debt roll forward, to ensure an accurate and timely corporate close. Oversee the review and accrual of all corporate expenses; prepare, record, and maintain recurring corporate journal entries to ensure accuracy and proper timing of postings. Manage and update corporate office lease files, including the calculation and recording of lessee right-of-use assets and lease liabilities in accordance with US GAAP, and prepare related footnote disclosures for SEC filings. Prepare reconciliations and supporting schedules to support footnotes in SEC filings, maintaining all related schedules in compliance with US GAAP. Manage the corporate fixed asset ledgers, ensuring that assets are accurately recorded, maintained, disposed of, and reconciled within subledgers, and record depreciation expense in accordance with US GAAP. Conduct detailed monthly reviews of general and administrative (G&A) expenses, providing concise and relevant variance analyses against budget and reforecast. Prepare and distribute monthly variance reports for all corporate cost centers to department managers. Update quarterly consolidated G&A reports, providing concise and relevant analysis and variance explanations against budget and forecast; support department leads in review of related analyses. Prepare monthly entries and reconciliations for the company-owned captive insurance program. Budgeting & Forecasting Oversee the annual non-salary G&A budget process, collaborating with department leads to ensure the production of a timely and accurate consolidated budget. Lead the quarterly reforecast for non-salary G&A, including the preparation and distribution of quarterly reports to senior management. Perform detailed analyses of G&A expenses against budget, reforecast, and serve as the primary point of contact for department leads regarding inquiries. Maintain multiple ledger types in general ledger to support accurate tracking of reforecasts and budgets. Other Administer Concur Expense, Concur Travel, and the US Bank Visa corporate card program, including monthly reconciliations to the general ledger and post-approval of expense reports. Provide backup for treasury management functions, including cash reconciliation, posting, and wire processing, in the absence of the Treasury Manager. Track and process monthly rent payments for all corporate office leases, serving as the primary point of contact with the Regency field officers for lease information. Prepare annual tangible personal property tax returns for corporate offices and process related tax payments. Code and process all Corporate Accounting invoices as needed. Are You Qualified? Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance at minimum CPA or CPA candidate preferred At least five years of related accounting experience; will consider three years with demonstrated mastery of accounting concepts and record of prior growth in accounting roles. Must possess strong analytical skills and intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Office suite Experience with JD Edwards software preferred Experience with Power BI software preferred Must uphold the highest standards of honesty and integrity in all aspects of the role. Demonstrates exceptional written and oral communication skills, consistently focused on enhancing customer service and ensuring clear, effective interactions with all parties. Displays decisive problem-solving skills, paired with strong presentation abilities.
