Senior Human Resources Generalist (Stamford, CT)

We are currently recruiting for a Senior HR Generalist in Stamford, CT (Hybrid in-office 2 days per week). The Senior HR Generalist is responsible for a wide range of duties including employee relations and investigations, recruitment, training and development, performance management, talent management, employee engagement, offboarding and HR projects. 105K – 120K Base + Bonus + Benefits Package Responsibilities: Partner with business leaders to offer thought leadership on organizational and people-related strategy and execution. Assist business leaders identify, prioritize, and build organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures and processes that align with the business strategy. Identify new ways for HR to support the business strategy and develop clear, actionable steps. Work closely with Talent teams to select training, implement appropriate employee training, manage its delivery and facilitate training sessions as necessary. Identify gaps in current and desired organization performance. Create actions to resolve gaps, including organization redesign, process change, coaching and training. Analyze workforce trends to model and forecast future talent requirements to support leaders in workforce and succession planning. Review key business performance targets and talent implications with business leaders. Identify, drive and share best practices across functions to facilitate continuous improvement. Align performance management and reward strategies. Coach leaders to improve leadership abilities, interpersonal communications and deliver effective performance feedback. Conduct employee relations investigations under the direction of the HR Manager; guide managers on performance management issues; ensure proper coaching of managers to improve employee performance and engagement. Perform additional HR tasks and projects as needed and directed by the HR Manager or VP, Head of Human Resources. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business. PHR or SHRM Certified Professional preferred. 5+ years experience in Human Resources as a Generalist or HR Business Partner. 2+ years of demonstrated experience recruiting in a corporate setting. 2+ years of proven experience handling employee relations issues and formal investigations. Creative and inventive problem solver, with demonstrated experience understanding business goals and creating action plans. Ability to synthesize large quantities of quantitative and qualitative data, recognize trends, tie back to business priorities and develop recommendations based on data analysis. No sponsorship.
