Starting salary ranges from $50,000 to $60,000 with a hybrid work model offered.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing job descriptions, posting job openings, screening resumes, coordinating interviews, managing application tracking, initiating background checks, and conducting reference checks.
  • Manage the processes involved in bringing new employees on board and transitioning those who are leaving.
  • Assist with the attorney and staff performance review processes, including communication management, feedback collection via software, report generation, and review distribution. Provide additional support to partners as required.
  • Contribute to new HR initiatives and projects by preparing surveys, reports, and other necessary documents for distribution or filing.
  • Aid with scheduling, record-keeping, and various organizational tasks such as drafting reports, presentations, letters, agreements, and more.
  • Provide support to the HR Director in managing FMLA and CTPFL processes.
  • Ensure that employee personnel files are accurately maintained.
  • Identify training providers and manage the logistics for training sessions as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required; at least 5 years of administrative assistant experience in lieu of a degree
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience supporting senior-level leadership or a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including editing and proofreading
  • Preferred experience in Human Resources, Diversity, and/or Title IX practices
