About the Role:

The Business Operations Manager - Marketing is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and management of Marketing initiatives in alignment with cross-functional teams. This role manages the intake, collaboration, and planning of campaigns, and projects across various channels and mediums. The Business Operations Manager - Marketing plays a crucial role in ensuring that Marketing initiatives are executed efficiently, effectively, and in alignment with the organization's Marketing and strategic goals.

Responsibilities

Drive cross-functional collaboration and alignment across the organization to ensure efficient and successful project execution Communicate marketing requirements and needs to ensure product and marketing success Assist in aligning priorities with business goals Marketing team bandwidth oversight and resource identification Request intake, scoping, timeline creation and adherence, and management from Discovery through execution Identify issues/roadblocks and provide status reports and recommendations to ensure leadership makes informed decisions Conduct post-mortem meetings to capture campaign or project results to deliver recommendations/inform future initiatives Marketing process documentation and communication/training Marketing team new hire training and onboarding Marketing Team Jira workflow/process governance and optimization Drive Marketing process development and cross-departmental process collaboration

Requirements

Bachelor's degree and 9+ years’ experience in related field (Creative, Marketing) Experience with project management Significant Marketing experience, with nuanced understanding of roles and responsibilities within the Marketing organization Ability to work with cross-functional teams to action on insights and make strategic decisions Experience in data analysis, budget management, and strong project reporting skills Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining organizational control Strong learning agility Experience in planning and leading strategic initiatives Exceptional organizational skills and a master of follow through Excellent written and verbal communication skills Versatile abilities and extreme dedication to efficient productivity Business-minded and focused on developing creative solutions Proficiency in conflict management and business negotiation processes Proficient with Google Suite, Jira, Confluence, Slack, Microsoft Office Suite or related software
