Job Title: Senior Market Strategist

Business Unit: Commercial

Location: Des Moines

Reports To: Senior Vice President, Commercial Sales

Position Summary:

The Senior Market Strategist will assist Senior Risk Managers servicing and soliciting commercial grain / energy accounts located out of the Des Moines, Iowa office. The qualified candidate will have a bachelor's degree in business with a focus in agricultural business.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Creating Ag/Energy market analysis and presentations
  • Assist in market research and data management of research
  • Assist in management of customer data and records
  • Service assigned customer accounts
  • Solicit new commercial clients - both agriculture and ethanol
  • Assist Des Moines leadership in solicitation of clients
  • Required to travel to visit with clients and new prospects
Qualifications:
  • Candidate will be required to acquire their Series 3 license within 3 months of employment
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Agricultural Business
  • 5-10 years' experience, or equivalent education required
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to perform market research through various company provided resources and/or platforms
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
