Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative

Job Title: Phlebotomist Patient Services RepresentativeContract Duration: 3+ MonthsPay range: $20 - 23/hrLocation: Seattle, WAWork Type: Onsite, Monday through Friday 7:30 am - 4:00 pm. Plus a Saturday rotation. Description:Are you a compassionate and detail-oriented healthcare professional with excellent phlebotomy skills? We're seeking a talented Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative to join our team. You'll be the face of our company, interacting with patients and providing high-quality care.Responsibilities: Patient Interaction: Greet patients, explain procedures, and create a welcoming and trusting atmosphere. Phlebotomy: Draw quality blood samples from patients, following established practices and procedures. Specimen Preparation: Prepare specimens for lab testing. Process Excellence: Demonstrate leadership behaviors, focus on process excellence, and maintain confidentiality and accuracy. Operational Efficiency: Perform daily activities accurately and on time, maintaining a safe and professional environment. Technical Skills: Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties confidently. Documentation: Maintain required records and documentation. Company Representation: Promote a positive image of the company to patients, clients, employees, and the public.Qualifications: Quality Work: Ability to provide high-quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment. Independence: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Phlebotomy Skills: Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric patients. Flexibility: Availability to work weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as needed. Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Medical training (medical assistant or paramedic) preferred. Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington). Experience: Minimum of 6 months of experience. One or more years of phlebotomy experience preferred. Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.
