About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at One Medical, providing exceptional care to our patients and supporting our clinical operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality phlebotomy services to patients of all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics.
  • Perform and assist with extended scope duties, including non-blood specimen collection, EKGs/ECGs, vitals, ear lavages, vaccines, PPD tests, and swabs.
  • Maintain accurate and efficient specimen labeling, handling, and processing, as well as inventory upkeep and tool sterilization.
  • Support our members beyond the lab room by answering patient messages, following up on lab cases, and assisting our providers and virtual medical team with clerical duties.
  • Deliver exceptional patient care through impeccable communication and interpersonal skills, ensuring a positive in-office experience.
Requirements
  • Active phlebotomy certification to practice in WA and at least 6 months of relevant experience as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist outside of a training/externship environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in computer technology, including typing, navigating the internet, and using multiple software systems simultaneously.
  • Experience working on collaborative, diverse, multi-disciplinary teams, with a proven ability to display confidence and instill trust during the collection process.
