Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Help Desk Support Technician to join our dynamic team. As a Help Desk Support Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our employees, ensuring smooth operation of computer systems, software, and hardware. The ideal candidate will have experience working with both Mac OS and Windows environments.

Responsibilities: Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware. Respond to requests for technical assistance via phone, email, or in-person. Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, determining the best course of action for resolution. Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and applications, including operating systems, software, and hardware components. Set up new user accounts and profiles, ensuring proper access permissions and security protocols. Collaborate with internal teams to escalate complex issues and coordinate resolutions. Document technical processes, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing and training purposes. Keep abreast of latest technology trends and developments, providing recommendations for continuous improvement. Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as system updates, backups, and virus scans. Provide training and guidance to end users on basic technical tasks and procedures.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred. Proven experience as a Help Desk Support Technician or similar role. Proficiency in both Mac OS and Windows environments is required. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with ITIL framework and best practices is a plus. Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST), or Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) are advantageous.
