Staffing Coordinator Responsibilities
· Ensure that our skilled nursing facility is adequately staffed with CNA’s, LPNs, and RNs to fulfill resident’s needs; fully utilizing the OnShift Scheduling software.
·Staffing levels align with the budgeted PPD based on current census. Compliance with all state and federal staffing requirements.
· Create and maintain staffing schedule for the Nursing Department.
· Receives and manages replacement needs for staff PTO and call outs.
· Perform other job-related duties as they become required.
Staffing Coordinator Qualifications
- Proven experience as a staffing coordinator or similar position.
- Experience in the long-term care setting or the drive to work in a challenging environment.
- Knowledge of staffing policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Outstanding organizational and leadership skills.
