Job description

Accounting / AP Specialist

We're seeking a detail-oriented Accounting / AP Specialist to join our client's team. In this role, you'll perform various accounting duties, process vendor invoices, and provide analytical support to the Division Controller and Cost Accountant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process accounts payable for multiple locations
  • Manage vendor relationships and resolve invoice discrepancies
  • Prepare payables batch extracts and ensure accurate GL assignments
  • Assist with monthly journal entries and financial reports
  • Monitor and investigate Received Goods Not Invoiced (RGNI) reporting
  • Perform job closings and support timely resolution of issues
  • Contribute to cross-departmental projects as needed
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of accounting experience
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Word
  • ERP system experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively


Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
