JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The Student Engagement Network (SEN) is seeking interns for the 2024-2025 academic year (including Spring and Summer 2024 as an option). The intern position will support the advancement of student engagement at Penn State. Duties to include: Effectively communicate the importance and impact of student engagement to current and future students, visiting parents, faculty, staff, administrators, alumni, and community members by participating in various events. Creating content for social media platforms. Assisting with the grant program, website content, social media strategy, and office-sponsored events. Conducting research, building surveys, and creating reports. Contributing to various projects and advisory groups. Requirements: Candidates should be comfortable speaking publicly, independent workers with a strong work ethic, courteous, respectful, and innovative thinkers. Interns will be paid $12.00 per hour for a maximum of 20 hours per week. Schedules may be flexible. Interns can work remotely or in-person at University Park. Summer interns will work in-person at UP. University Park interns will serve as liaisons, mentors, and ambassadors of student engagement.
