You’ll make a difference with the below traits: Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive Water/Wastewater (WWW) vertical strategy for APAC, focusing on ambitious growth and business mix (projects, products, software, and services) in alignment with the respective countries. Market Penetration & Evaluation: Drive market penetration and assess WWW regional markets in APAC as part of the global WWW community. Support positioning Siemens as a strong player in the local water markets with automation, electrification and digitalization. Collaborate closely with Vertical Managers (VM) in HQ Germany, other regions, VM/VS, and relevant Sales Organizations within APAC Region Regional Companies (RCs) and other Business Units (BUs). Regional Support & Coordination: Support and guide Regional Companies in APAC in developing and implementing WWW business plans. Orchestrate efforts of local VM/VS to manage Push/Pull strategies with End Customers, OEMs, SIs, EPCs, and Planners within the WWW ecosystem, collaborating with sales channels in RCs and supporting cross-border business. Pipeline & Project Management: Ensure pipeline quality with a focus on strategic projects (e.g., key customers, lighthouse references) to also provide forecast accuracy for our manages/focus accounts. New Business and Portfolio Development: Gather vertical-specific portfolio requirements from APAC Regions and support HQ WWW in enhancing domain expertise and market knowledge, including competitor analysis. Identify, evaluate, and capture growth pockets in the along the water cycle across APAC Regions based on solid understanding of regional market, customers, and ecosystem. Sales Enablement: Facilitate the rollout of use cases into the Vertical Ecosystem, coordinating sales enablement activities such as training, target setting, and incentive systems. Drive execution of water industry specific campaigns (e.g., challenger, demand generation, sales push) in close alignment with HQ and regional stakeholders. Orchestrating Push/Pull Strategies: Manage Push/Pull dynamics at End Customers, OEMs, SIs, EPCs and Planners within the WWW ecosystem, in close collaboration with sales channels and respective Siemens Partners in the RCs. Your Defining Qualities: Possessing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field Proven experience in business development and strategy implementation within the Water/Wastewater industry. Strong understanding of the APAC market dynamics and regulatory landscape. Excellent leadership, coordination, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to drive market penetration and support regional companies in achieving business goals. Proficient in developing and executing comprehensive business plans and sales enablement activities.
