Financial Analyst

Position Summary

Responsible for analyzing financial data for eCommerce Business Planning, identifying trends, monitoring key performance indicators, preparing financial reports, conducting monthly P&L reconciliations, supporting budgeting and planning processes, and providing actionable insights to optimize financial performance and drive business growth within the eCommerce org. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to develop and implement financial strategies aligned with Samsung's objectives.

Monthly P&L analysis (Plan vs. Actuals) Root cause analysis for variance in revenue & profit Root cause analysis of Below CGS sales orders Other ad-hoc financial analysis requests

Requirements:

Background & Competencies Required:

Strong knowledge of forecast modeling and basic P&L management. Prior experience in a consumer electronics manufacturer and/or retailer is preferred but not required. Ability to navigate the organization to gather information, elicit feedback, gain buy-in, and engage others in B2C activities Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) Ability to work under pressure and deadlines. In addition, one must be able to manage multiple projects and often competing priorities. 3 - 5 years of equivalent work experience required. College degree required. Proficiency in all components of Microsoft Office Suite as well as Tableau preferred.

The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual base compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, actual experience, and job performance.
