Financial Analyst | $80k - $90k

We are seeking a highly motivated Financial Analyst with strong quantitative and analytical skills to join our client's corporate Finance team. Reporting to the VP of Finance, the Financial Analyst will be responsible for developing financial models, managing reporting and budgeting processes, and providing financial support across the organization. This role offers a unique opportunity to join a growing, private equity-backed company in a highly visible function with exposure to senior leadership.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Analyze business and financial data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Create and maintain financial models to support organizational decision-making.
  • Assist in the annual budgeting process and reforecasts.
  • Develop consolidated, location-specific, and segment financial budgets, along with monthly and quarterly reports (P&L, KPIs, etc.) for organizational leaders.
  • Analyze industry trends and provide recommendations based on findings.
  • Evaluate capital expenditures and depreciation.
  • Develop automated reporting and forecasting tools for more efficient data use.
  • Provide financial support for field teams, operations, and sales.
  • Perform ad hoc analyses and other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field (e.g., engineering, mathematics, computer science) required. An MBA or CPA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to organize, consolidate, and analyze large amounts of data, with an interest in conducting deep-dive analysis to better understand key business drivers.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team to manage projects.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, MS Access) and ERPs (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Acumatica) is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Prior experience in industrials, transportation, logistics, or government services is preferred.
