Robotics Engineer

Key Role:
Supports the research and development of robotic and unmanned systems across multiple operational domains and mission areas. Functions at the intersection of software and hardware to design, build, test, and demonstrate new robotic capabilities that address complex client problems in sensing, autonomy, and human interaction. Applies basic principles, theories, and concepts, and limited industry knowledge. Solves routine problems of limited scope and complexity and refers more complex issues to higher levels. Works under direct supervision.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience with robotics engineering and building and testing robotic prototypes
- Experience in programming languages such as C++, Python, ROS, or Rust
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, electronics, and software integration
- Ability to present research findings and recommendations to clients and executive leadership
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Robotics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
- Experience with robotic simulation and testing software
- Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence applications in robotics.
- Experience with ML, computer vision, and deep learning algorithm
- Experience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools, including GitLab CI/CD and Jenkins
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Possession of excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Master's degree in Robotics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
- Secret clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
