To support our continued growth, we are seeking a highly skilled Sr. R&D Mechanical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team.

The Role:As a Sr. R&D Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the development of our next generation of automation products. Your expertise in machine design will be instrumental in creating innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will collaborate closely with our R&D team to conceptualize, design, and test new products that can stand alone or seamlessly integrate into our overall material handling systems.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth research on industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for product innovation.
  • Develop and refine product concepts, considering factors such as functionality, cost, and manufacturability.
  • Create detailed design specifications and drawings using CAD software (Inventor preferred).
  • Perform complex engineering calculations and simulations to optimize product performance and reliability.
  • Oversee the prototyping and testing process, analyzing results to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software engineers, and manufacturing to ensure product success.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry standards and regulations to maintain product compliance.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) is required.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in machine design.
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and launching new products.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (Inventor preferred).
  • In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems and components.
  • Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with prototyping and testing is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Experience:
  • Experience in the material handling or heavy equipment industry (e.g., Caterpillar, John Deere).
  • Background in automation, robotics, or AGVs.
