In this role you are responsible for analyzing, development and sustainment of scheduling and logistics planning for the Coralville Operations to support scheduling capabilities, production capacity, improve systems and customer order performance that directly relates to the quality, accuracy and consistency of our products.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Lead and co-manage team of Schedulers across multiple shifts and value streams to support prioritization of work and products.
  • Partner with Site Training Leader to evaluate skills strengths and areas for improvement throughout the Coralville Operations and work together to create and administer training solutions to close gaps and enhance capabilities.
  • Collaborate with internal and external subject matter experts to develop and deliver process improvement and standard work around evaluating production capacity and deploying countermeasures.
  • Partner with site directors, value stream leaders, VP, and business unit on operating strategies and capacity utilization to enable current product delivery and future growth.
  • Audit the effectiveness and efficiency of scheduling processes and cross-stream/cross-functional communication.
  • Partner and collaborate with schedulers and value stream leaders to evaluate readiness of associates and equipment for new and existing products in Coralville Operations.
  • Strategic planning for both short- and long-term logistical needs aligned with business forecasting and customer expectations.
The essential requirements of the job include:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, supply chain or science related field from an accredited college or university; OR in absence of a degree, relevant experience required
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrates experience and extensive proficiency with planning, scheduling, and logistics, preferably in a manufacturing or similar environment.
  • Demonstrates clear and collaborative communication skills across all levels of an organization.
  • Knowledge and skills in the use of daily management & action planning methodologies and tools.
  • Proficient with technology including MS Office applications.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
  • A master's degree in a related field or more than 5 years of related experience.
  • Danaher Business System (DBS) & IDT operational experience (preferred).
  • Ability to lead project teams and peers through ambiguity, frequent changes and effective decision making.


This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
