Description

Responsibilities

This individual is responsible for the implementation of a local recruitment efforts for Terminal Security Solutions (TSS) in South and Central Florida, including:

  • Recruit and create a continual pipeline for part-time hourly Security staff.
  • Communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process (i.e. conduct interview pre-screens, set-up interviews and coordinate post-interview follow up for next steps, when applicable).
  • Build and maintain a strong partnership with leadership to understand what they are doing today, where have they been successful in recruiting and develop a recruitment strategy for each port.
  • Manage postings of open positions on job boards via Paylocity and offline where Paylocity doesn't reach, regular refresh.
  • Develop, maintain and utilize a listing of candidate sources (i.e. State employment agencies, veteran's organizations, job center partnerships, high schools/colleges, etc.).
  • Identify relevant job fairs and coordinate attendance with local Operations Managers; attend larger job events with the local teams.
  • Prepare necessary recruitment collateral including adverts, flyers etc. (in conjunction with our marketing team).
  • Post recruitment ads on social media pages; regular refresh (through our marketing team).
  • Maintain key recruitment metrics, specifically track hiring statistics and turnover in conjunction with our port teams and generate reports for the management teams.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in high volume part-time hourly workforce recruitment.
  • Working knowledge of State and Federal employment laws as they relate to recruitment
  • Helpful if experience with Paylocity (our HR system, recruiting and payroll system) and Novatime (our scheduling system), but we will provide training and assistance in these systems.
  • Microsoft office.
  • Proactive, self-starter.
  • Good communications and interviewing skills.
  • Comfortable with remote working and working with minimal supervision.
  • Travel up to 20%
