Position Summary

This position is located within our Customer Service Center/Operations Center in Georgetown Kentucky. This position supports the logistics customer base, by providing exceptional service to our customers, suppliers, Drivers, and Partner Carriers. The Operations Coordinator is the direct line of communication between the Drivers and our customers. A successful candidate will have a great understanding of customer service as it relates to a call center supporting the supply chain services we offer.

This position is responsible for tracking the supply chain moves for our customers, with a large component being automotive related and a just in time environment. Responsible for monitoring to ensure that dedicated fleet drivers dispatch, pickup parts, and return to domicile in a timeframe set forth by a plan. Any exception to the standard plan must be identified and communicated effectively. It is important that the individual has the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and accurately recall information. This individual will be in direct contact with customers, fleet drivers, and suppliers on a daily basis. The ability to; monitor routes, identify problem areas, problem solve while using creative thinking methods, and communicate effectively to the customer, are vital to the success of this position. You will be working in a team environment with other operations coordinators to provide outstanding customer service.

Position Responsibilities:

* Monitor routes to ensure time standards are being met.

* Input check call times from drivers in logistics tracking system (LIMS).

* Report abnormal conditions to defined personnel groups.

* Maintain proper records and ensure information is executed timely and correctly.

* Communicate effectively with customers, OTR drivers, Partner Carriers, and suppliers.

* Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a professional approach through all circumstances.

* Additional duties assigned as needed.

* Overtime as needed

* Saturday work as needed based on our customers work schedule

Essential Skills and Experience

* G.E.D. or High School Diploma.

* Excellent data entry skills.

* Proficiency in Word and Excel a plus

* Fast paced environment

* Strong customer focus for both internal and external customers.

* Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job.
