Job DescriptionNow is the time to be part of Ria Financial and we know it takes a relentless sales team to lead our company to the next level. Ria's mission is to be the most progressive money transfer company in the world by offering service excellence and the most competitive and reliable remittance payment services to our customers. We are looking for a Director of Sales to lead our sales team in our Central Division, composed of (4) Regional Managers, (1) Business Development Manager and (15+) Territory Managers/Sales Representatives. The ideal candidate would reside in major markets Central United States. Preference will be given to candidates residing in: Chicago, Il (no remote opportunities available). The ideal candidate has language proficiency in Spanish and English.ResponsibilitiesThe Sales Director has accountability for the P&L, responsibility for maximizing market penetration and profitable transaction volumes and line management of the sales teamThe position has responsibility for setting sales targets, directing and delivering on strategies to grow transaction, revenue and EBIT and identifying service quality areas for improvementAchieves individual sales goals and leads the sales team utilizing the company's marketing and sales philosophies and techniques to successfully achieve sales goalsEstablishes and maintains a high-performing team environment where a collaborative and supportive setting leads to achieving and exceeding sales goals and objectivesLeadershipWork collaboratively with the Sales Management Team to ensure success in meeting and exceeding sales goalsResponsible for hiring, development, counseling, coaching, oversight, and performance evaluation of the sales staffOversee training of all staff on sales techniques, policies and proceduresSales OperationsManage a critical P&L account, delivering on transaction, EBIT and revenue targets.Lead a diverse team (both multi-ethnic and from a skill perspective), developing successors, providing direction and thought leadership and delivering resultsReview and analyze performance and competitive data, develop expansion plans, and deliver on these by allocating resources accordingly.Develop and implement sales, pricing, marketing and merchandising plans to achieve revenue and profit goals across the countryCultivate new sales relationships; negotiate and acquire new agentsAcquire and maintain knowledge of the competition and identify growth opportunities within the country (including new products)Identify and resolve quality service issues to drive the businessQualificationsBachelor's Degree7-10 years of sales experience in leadership and management of multiple salespeopleProven individual sales experience as a top producer; deliver under pressure and time framesCore competencies in customer focus, negotiation skills, strategic thinking, thought leadership, influence, and persuasion as well as excellent communication skillsPrevious Financial Services or Money Transfer industry experience preferredBilingual-English & Spanish Benefits: Our package includes medical, dental, vision insurance, 401K, employee stock options, paid time off, HSA/FSA, short-term/long-term disability, tuition assistance, growth opportunities, and much more. Salary: The range in for this position is $100K-115k base not including bonus/commission.
