Job Summary:

The Director of Finance at Pizza Lucé will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy of the company, ensuring its financial health, sustainability, and achievement of its goals. This hands-on leadership role oversees all financial activities, including accounting, financial analysis, budgeting, risk management, and contract management.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead all financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, daily sales reconciliation, cash management, and general ledger accounting with a hands on leadership culture. Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and transactions. Manage the period-end close process, including balance sheet reconciliation review and variance analysis. Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Lead the annual budgeting process, including revenue forecasting, expense planning, and variance analysis. Provide financial analysis and recommendations to senior management to support decision-making. Implement robust financial controls and risk management practices to safeguard the company’s assets and financial health. Drive insightful analysis of restaurant financial performance, identifying trends, opportunities, and risks to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement. Oversee the PLM office management and contract management function. Collaborate effectively with other senior leaders and departments to support strategic initiatives and improve operational efficiencies. Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CPA a strong plus. Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance leadership roles, preferably in the restaurant or hospitality industry. Proven track record of financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Strong Month End close and partnership with external auditors. Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulatory requirements. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
