Job Description

We're seeking a highly skilled and analytical Mechanical Engineer III to lead in the development of 3D and 2D mechanical designs specifically for manufacturing GSE for satellite systems in Siemens NX. This role requires an individual who can excel in a fast-paced environment, working on both prototype and production-level designs, and collaborating effectively with various spacecraft design and integration teams. The successful candidate will also handle related analysis tasks and should be adept at solving unique problems on a significant scale with a high level of autonomy.

Qualifications:

+ BSc/MSc in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or equivalent

+ 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience

+ Proficient in MCAD software, 3D modeling, and 2D drafting

+ Experienced in designing and drafting with NX

+ Skilled in prototyping and implementation

+ Knowledgeable in production fixturing and tooling

+ Experienced in DFM and manufacturing process development

+ Proficient in GD&T and tolerance analysis
