The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive communications and marketing strategy that aligns with the university's objectives and enhances its brand. This role requires a visionary leader with a proven track record in guiding strategy, fostering diversity and teamwork, and managing fiscal planning. The Vice President will also be tasked with promoting the university's mission, supporting an environment of belonging, and representing its commitment to the transformative power of education. Applicants should have a minimum of ten years of relevant experience, a bachelor's degree (a master's or professional degree is preferred), and a background in crisis and reputation management. The ideal candidate will possess excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal abilities, and a deep understanding of higher education. They should be adept at articulating complex matters to diverse stakeholders and knowledgeable about best practices in university higher education communications. The role demands a relationship-oriented leader who can create powerful and cohesive messaging, enhance the university's reputation, and optimize the impact of marketing and communication tools and technology through strategic data analysis.
