Intermediate principles, practices, and procedures of governmental budgeting, accounting, and purchasing, including preparation, monitoring, transferring, and reporting (GAAP, GASB & BARS). Municipal financial research and analysis methods and techniques. Laws, rules, and regulations related to accounting in government operations. Accounting software user and administration skills (SAGE Intacct) EPIC EMR experience is preferred but not required Critical access hospital experience is preferred but not required Accountant Requirements: Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process High-level understanding and use of Office products, including Excel Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience Intermediate understanding of accounting and reporting standards, gaining experience in researching as it relates to accounting issues #J-18808-Ljbffr
