On-Site Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Provide support for a program, organization, system, or enclave’s information assurance program. Propose, coordinate, implement, and enforce information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies. Maintain operational security posture for an information system or program. Assist with the management of security aspects of the information system. Evaluate security solutions to ensure they meet security requirements. Perform vulnerability/risk assessment analysis. Provide configuration management for information system security software, hardware, and firmware. Prepare and review documentation including System Security Plans (SSPs). Support security authorization activities in compliance with NIST RMF. Assist with preparation and maintenance of documentation. Maintain records on various systems. Develop system security policy and ensure compliance. Administer the user identification and authentication mechanism. Plan and coordinate the IT security programs and policies. Serve as the Approval Authority for ISs. Minimum Qualifications

Current Top Secret/SCI w/Polygraph Required Experience Level 1 :

Five (5) years' experience as an ISSO on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline is required.

Required Experience Level 2 :

Certification DoD 8570 compliance with IAM Level I or higher. Ten (10) years’ experience as an ISSO on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline is required.
