Job Title: Warehouse Operations Manager (Lighting Industry) Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee all aspects of warehouse activities within the lighting industry. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing inventory, optimizing warehouse layout, coordinating shipments, and ensuring efficient operations to meet company objectives. Responsibilities: Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, oversee stock levels, and implement inventory control procedures to minimize discrepancies and ensure availability of products. Warehouse Organization: Optimize warehouse layout for efficient storage and movement of lighting products. Implement best practices for space utilization and ensure a safe and clean working environment. Order Fulfillment: Coordinate and prioritize order fulfillment to meet customer demands and shipping deadlines. Monitor order processing times and streamline workflows for maximum efficiency. Shipping and Receiving: Manage inbound and outbound shipments, including coordinating with carriers, preparing shipping documents, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. Quality Control: Implement quality assurance procedures to inspect incoming and outgoing products. Address any quality issues promptly and collaborate with suppliers on corrective actions. Team Leadership: Supervise warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance. Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction. Implement initiatives to improve warehouse efficiency, reduce lead times, and enhance overall operational performance. Reporting and Analysis: Generate reports on warehouse operations, including inventory levels, order status, and performance metrics. Analyze data to identify trends, forecast future needs, and make data-driven decisions. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred). Proven experience (4+ years) in warehouse management, preferably within the lighting or electrical industry. Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally with sales, procurement, and other departments.
