Job Summary

The Warehouse Operations Manager oversees the dock team and supports the store management team. This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational and communication skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of inventory and maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the dock team by assigning tasks and ensuring that team members are productive and efficient.
  • Maintain open communication with the store manager regarding staffing and production issues.
  • Ensure that the warehouse is organized and that inventory is accurately tracked.
  • Assist the store manager in ensuring quality control and training employees.
  • Drive donation requests for the store and ensure that financial donations are collected and reported.
  • Direct oversight of assigned departments and ensure that tasks are completed in a timely manner.
  • Follow opening and closing procedures of the dock and ensure that the area is secure and clean.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Leadership abilities with attention to detail and organization.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with others.
  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and conduct physical tasks as required.
  • Conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times.
  • Be of good physical and mental health with emotional maturity and a sense of humor.
  • Have sound judgment necessary to achieve goals without day-to-day supervision.
  • Be an efficient multi-tasker and have high ethical ability for following policies and procedures.
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing situations.
