Position: Medical Assistant

Job Description:

Escort and prepare patients for examinations
Obtain vital signs and medical history
Family Practice/Internal Medicine experience preferred
Perform standard diagnostic procedures including: EKG, Phlebotomy, Venipuncture, PFT, Doppler, Injections and Patient Charting
EMR experience required
Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
2-3 years experience as a Medical Assistant or equivalent combination of education and experience
Must be proficient in the use of an electronic medical record; experience with eClinicalWorks is a plus
Medical Assistant Certification preferred
Phlebotomy Certification preferred
