Verify and document regulatory programs (HACCP, SSOP, GMP and product labeling). Follow and comply with company procedures and policies set forth by management team and customer specifications. Responsible for placing non-conforming product on HOLD. Responsible for assisting the Manager in staffing responsibilities, special projects and all other directions directed by the Manager. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:1. Assist Manager with scheduling FSQA technicians and administrative functions.2. Perform work associated with both plant and office responsibilities.3. Ensure compliance to all regulatory standards including HACCP, USDA, SSOP's etc.Record temperatures as required by policy. Calculate product compliance percentages and complete data entry of product evaluations.Verify code dates, ingredients, and labels.Gather products for micro testing.Provide documentation for HACCP, SSOP, and GMP.Assist in providing backup and training for new FSQA employees.Read and follow company policies and procedures, as well as customer specifications.Work collectively with USDA and other department managers/supervisors as needed.Assist in placing product on HOLD.Work on special projects directed by the FSQA Director/Manager.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES1. Knowledge of food safety standards.2. Organizational and time management skills.3. Skill in performing basic math functions.4. Skill in using a personal computer and various software applications.5.
