Job Overview

We are seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician who will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance of machinery and equipment within our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure a safe and organized work environment by adhering to established protocols and safety regulations.
  • Oversee the installation, repair, and refurbishment of machinery to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on mechanical systems to prevent breakdowns and ensure reliability.
  • Diagnose issues by monitoring electrical and mechanical systems in action.
  • Disassemble machinery to replace or repair defective components.
  • Assess parts requirements through inspection and measurement of instruments.
  • Design and execute electrical installations and modifications as needed.
  • Manage inventory of equipment parts and supplies by monitoring stock levels and placing orders.
  • Educate production staff on standard preventive maintenance practices.
  • Provide technical support by addressing inquiries and requests related to mechanical maintenance.
  • Compile maintenance reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.

Additionally, you will:

  • Mentor and supervise junior maintenance personnel.
  • Report directly to the Maintenance Supervisor.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Proficient in electrical troubleshooting and repair techniques.
  • Familiar with three-phase motors and control systems (including VFD circuits).
  • Experienced with PLC-based mechanical systems.
  • Capable of operating various machinery and technical equipment.
  • Thorough understanding of system maintenance protocols.
  • Able to lift and maneuver heavy machinery.
Additional Skills:
  • Skilled in data analysis and report generation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
  • Knowledgeable about safety standards and regulations.
Preferred Knowledge:
  • Experience with CNC machinery.
  • Familiarity with cleanroom environments.
  • Understanding of process water cooling systems.
  • Knowledge of wastewater treatment processes.
  • Fabrication skills including welding and material shaping.
  • Experience with CAD software.
  • Project management capabilities.
  • Building maintenance skills (plumbing, drywall, electrical, etc.).
  • Understanding of HVAC systems.
  • Knowledge of hazardous materials management.
