Job Title : Accounting Manager – AR Billing
Location : St. Louis, MO
Reports to : CFO
Job Description : The Accounting Manager – AR Billing will be responsible for oversight of the company’s Accounts Receivable and Billing functions, customer interface, software support, financial reporting, consumer credit compliance. This position will supervise the AR Billing personnel and report directly to the CFO.
Responsibilities include:
Oversee the filing of the Company’s Customer Billing production and payment processing, collections, and bank ACH file issuance.
Ensure financial records are kept timely and complete and result in accurate reconciliation for each period with bank records.
Coordinate and support audits and reviews by external auditors
Assist Community staff to resolve customer disputes regarding billing and payment related matters. Apply technical accounting standards to complex business issues and transactions; prepare written explanations to support recommendations made to resolve account issues.
Manage the Company’s compliance efforts, including maintenance of the Company’s control documentation, act as the key liaison with outsourced accounting compliance personnel
Act as the SME Lead in the area of Billing and AR related to any merger, acquisition, property divestiture or development projects.
Coordinate and assist 3rd party vendor in all maintenance updates.
Ensure reporting practices are in compliance with investor agreements, partnership agreements and management contracts.
Responsible to ensure systems and processes are in place to deliver accurate, timely and relevant monthly and quarterly financial reporting process
Special projects and duties as required and assigned by Provision Living owners
Requirements
BS in accounting or finance
Previous Billing experience highly preferred
Minimum of 3 years accounting / finance experience
Experience managing third party service providers preferred
Extensive knowledge financial reporting and compliance requirements
Strong systems, planning, organization and communication skills
Ability to meet the demanding deadlines
Ability to clearly and concisely document and explain technical accounting and reporting matters
