Job DescriptionSUMMARYA Process Engineer supports process improvements, sustaining engineering, capital equipment specification and qualification and provides technical support for a specific manufacturing area(s) - related to bulk cable or assembly production.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSProvides technical support and troubleshooting/problem-resolution to ensure cost, quality, delivery and safety targets are met.Participates/lead continuous improvement projects related to manufacturing processes.Performs engineering analysis, DOEs, trials to improve and optimize manufacturing processes.Participates/Leads in Capital Equipment planning/procurement/design/Installation/Qualification (DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ)Supports Design Engineering with Process, Tooling, Sustaining Engineering activities.Process Monitoring and support of continuous improvement programs.*Other duties as required in support of the department and the company*SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIESThe responsibilities of this role do not include supervising other employees.PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical requirements outlined below indicate those necessary to fulfill this position's core responsibilities. While performing job duties, the employee will regularly engage in activities such as using hands to finger, handle, or feel and communicating verbally. Additionally, the employee will frequently need to reach with hands and arms while standing and walking as part of the role. Occasional lifting and movement of objects weighing up to fifty (50) pounds and using a ladder may be required. This position also demands specific vision capabilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
