A Manufacturing Process Specialist is responsible for enhancing operational efficiencies, supporting engineering initiatives, and delivering technical expertise in designated manufacturing sectors, particularly in bulk cable and assembly production.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance and problem-solving support to meet cost, quality, delivery, and safety objectives.
- Engage in and lead continuous improvement initiatives aimed at refining manufacturing operations.
- Conduct engineering analyses, design of experiments (DOEs), and trials to optimize production processes.
- Participate in the planning, procurement, design, installation, and qualification of capital equipment (including DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ).
- Collaborate with Design Engineering on process, tooling, and sustaining engineering tasks.
Process Monitoring
Support ongoing improvement programs and undertake additional duties as necessary to assist the department and organization.
Physical Requirements
The physical demands necessary to fulfill the core responsibilities of this position include:
- Regularly engaging in activities such as using hands for handling and communicating verbally.
- Frequently reaching with hands and arms while standing and walking.
- Occasionally lifting and moving objects weighing up to fifty (50) pounds and using a ladder.
