Jr Payroll Tax Coordinator

for a

CONTRACT TO

HIRE

assignment with one of our premier

HEALTHCARE INDUSTRY

clients in

Conshohocken, PA.

**This is a hybrid role - 2-3 days a week onsite**PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Completes and remits new account registration forms to taxing jurisdictions.

2. Prepares and reconciles payroll monthly tax impound journal entry.

3. Handles escalated tax tracers and communicates with taxing authorities to resolve account issues.

4. Perform all year end reconciliations to ensure Wage Statements and tax filings are accurate.

5. Assists with the reconciliation of payroll general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.

6. Follows up on newly applied for state accounts and updates Third Party vendors of new account information SUI rates, etc.

7. Perform periodic and quarterly tax reconciliations to ensure tax filings are correct.

8. Audits Tax accounts for activity and coordinates with Payroll Tax Coordinator to close any inactive accounts.

9. Coordinate with Corporate Tax Department when opening new local and state tax accounts.

10. Communicates with Cencora partners and external parties regarding tax or payroll issues.

11. Assists in updating tax accounts related to mergers, consolidations, and divestitures.

12. Performs hypo tax and stock reclasses as needed.

13. Assists in filing tax returns and amendments that cannot be filed by third party vendor.

15. Participate in Year End Activity as needed.

16. Performs related duties and projects as assigned.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year bachelor's degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education. Normally requires a minimum of two (2) years directly related and progressively responsible experience.

MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

1. Good understanding of payroll tax and payroll processing software programs, preferably ADP Enterprise

2. Working knowledge of general ledger accounting

3. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing

4. Strong interpersonal skills

5. Adept at handling sensitive and confidential situations

6. Strong organizational skills; attention to detail

7. Ability to implement processes resulting in satisfactory audit practices

8. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
