Job Type Full-timeDescriptionPosition: Community Based Adolescent-Community Reinforcement Clinician I (OJJDP Grant Funded)Supervisor: New Visions Program SupervisorSupervisees: NoneFLSA Status: Full Time, Non-ExemptSalary: $44,580.00WHAT YOU WILL DO:Oversees interventions and activities with youth participants and their parent/caregiver through the Adolescent-Community Reinforcement Approach model under the service provision of the OJJDP: Opioid Affected Youth grant. This includes but is not limited to:Complete 21 hours of Adolescent-Community Reinforcement Approach model implementation training and 12 consultation calls along with video-taping submissions as required by modelAdminister the Adolescent-Community Reinforcement approach from multiple locations across Hampton Roads, primarily in the client's home and various community locationsParticipate in on-going professional development and supervisionAssist A-CRA Supervisor with implementing and executing a comprehensive marketing plan to local partners to expand knowledge and access to the programFacilitate psycho-educational A-CRA training with youth and parent/caregiver: including relapse prevention and sobriety sampling, rapport building, and motivation by reinforcing skills learned during sessionsDevelopment of Comprehensive, Individualized Treatment Plans/Goals of Counseling utilizing the Happiness Scale to enhance development of the youth's problem-solving skills, foster adolescent-caregiver relationship skills, job-seeking skills, and anger management skillsParticipate in the Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) process as neededEnsure ongoing communication and coordination with team members, partner agencies and community stakeholders throughout service deliveryTracking the day-to-day activities to ensure program tasks are completed on time, successfully, and in a manner consistent with the Adolescent-Community Reinforcement Approach Model, program goals, departmental policies, and grantor's terms and conditionsPerforms other duties as assigned RequirementsQUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/ABILITIES:Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services or PsychologyQualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP-C) or a Licensed Eligible ClinicianKnowledge of principles and practices of professional counseling and or social work, including case management methods and techniquesTwo years' experience working directly with youth and families providing clinical mental health and substance use treatment interventions in a community settingPossess and maintain a valid driver's license with a clean driving recordHave access to a personal vehicle without prior noticeMust have and maintain a working cell phoneDemonstrate proficient computer skills and command of Microsoft Word and ExcelProficient in using EHR's and other software applicationsStrong organizational and presentation skillsAbility to engage with clients and maintain appropriate boundariesDemonstrates self-confidence in their decision making and has strong work ethicsAbility to write routine reports and correspondence, using both quantitative and qualitative inputKnowledge of local social and health resources to make effective referrals and follow-upsDemonstrates knowledge of trauma informed and best practice concepts and practice regarding holistic substance use treatment, recovery, and wellnessEffective written and verbal communication skillsStrong leadership, conflict-resolution, and problem-solving skillsMeet background check requirementsAbility to maintain a flexible work schedule to include evenings and weekends as requiredAble to travel throughout the Hampton Roads area on a regular basisBENEFITS:Paid Time Off and Paid HolidaysHealth InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceFlexible Spending Account401k with MatchingLife InsuranceEmployee Assistance ProgramReferral ProgramEmployee Discount Salary Description 44,580
