We are seeking a qualified mental health professional to join our team in providing mental health services to individuals and families. As a QMHP, you will be responsible for providing direct care to program participants, maintaining accurate and concise documentation of all services, and collaborating with clients, families, and community partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct care to program participants, including progress notes and assessment gathering.
  • Maintain a caseload of multiple clients and reduce the risk of out-of-home placement or assist in the return from out-of-home placement.
  • Attend weekly supervision with the Clinical Supervisor and demonstrate an awareness, appreciation, and respect for diverse cultures and individual differences of clients and fellow employees.
  • Utilize approved skills curriculum with youth, adults, and families to help improve behavior and keep the family and team members informed on progress toward achieving Service/Treatment Plan goals.
  • Provide or secure support and crisis/emergency services for the youth, adult, and family by phone contact or in-person and maintain all client documentation in the electronic record system.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in psychology or a human services-related field required.
  • Must hold current registration as a QMHP from the Virginia Department of Health Professions.
  • At least one year of experience providing mental health services (preferred).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Compensation details: 22-25 Hourly Wage
