Key driver of the monthly closing process to ensure timely delivery of balance sheet reconciliations. Conduct ad hoc tasks such as timely response on Fortive home office inquiries, chart of accounts mapping, and other financial analyses and management reporting projects. Cost Accounting and Inventory Management Supervise the cost accounting function, including the accurate valuation of inventory and the analysis of production costs. Develop and maintain cost accounting methodologies to support decision-making and improve operational efficiency. Monitor inventory levels and inventory costing methods, finding opportunities for optimization and cost reduction. Capital Expenditure and Fixed Asset Management Manage and maintain an accurate and up-to-date fixed asset register, including the acquisition, disposal, and depreciation of assets, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and organizational policies. Drive organizational alignment on capital forecast and actual implementation. Team Leadership and Development Manage and mentor a team of staff accountants, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to foster professional growth and development. Delegate responsibilities effectively and ensure the timely completion of tasks to meet due dates and objectives. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork and accountability. Qualifications: Minimum of five years in advancing responsibility accounting roles (preferably within a manufacturing environment or in a public accounting firm) Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting Robust knowledge of US GAAP, cost accounting, and audit procedures Excellent interpersonal skills - collaborative with internal/external customers, team members, and cross-functional collaborators Experience managing small teams Effective communications skills – including written, verbal and listening skills Strong analytical skills to diagnose and troubleshoot sophisticated datasets Organized, with a strong process and detail focus to deliver high quality and timely results High energy, bias for action with continuous improvement mentality; recognizes and resolves issues Team-player with the ability and willingness to take on challenges Excellent digital literacy, particularly MS Excel ERP system experience (JDE and HFM/OneStream ideal) #LI-CS23
