Marketing Assistant (AEC Industry)

What We're Looking For:
Barge Design Solutions is currently seeking to fill theposition of Marketing Assistant to support our marketing and proposal team.Office locations to work out of include our Nashville, TN, Knoxville, TN,Chattanooga, TN, Atlanta, GA, or Birmingham, AL office.

Responsibilities:
  • In support of the marketing andproposal efforts, organizes and maintains marketing materials and dataused by marketing staff to develop proposals and presentations(qualifications, staff resumes, boilerplate information, archived files,etc.).
  • Leads prequalification efforts andsupports qualification/proposal development, compiling and checkinginformation, and completing forms and reports for marketing purposes.
  • Assists in the proposal close-outprocess.
  • Administers marketing systems,including maintaining codes and reports, to ensure accuracy and proper useof information.
  • May generate reports onpre-contract status (win/loss), leads, and fees analysis, as well asvarious sales reports, as needed.
  • Assists with other duties asassigned such as marketing database maintenance, surveys, specialprojects, research, pre-sell pieces, data entry, award submittals, etc.
Education & Experience Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in BusinessAdministration and Marketing
  • 0 - 2 years of related experience or 4 - 5 years experience,preferably within the AEC industry in lieu of degree
  • Proficient in Microsoft OfficeSuite
  • Familiarity in Adobe CreativeSuite (InDesign and Illustrator)
  • Familiarity with CRM databases (Salesforce)
  • Experience in supporting proposaldevelopment preferred
  • Must be service-oriented with theability to handle multiple assignments at a time and set and meet deadlines
  • Can work independently andcollaboratively in a team environment
  • Possesses an aptitude for managingand solving tactical issues
  • Possesses a high level oforganizational and communication skills
  • Possesses a strong command ofgrammar and spelling, with a high degree of accuracy and attention todetail
