From your PASSION to oursThe Operator I - Sanitation employee can demonstrate that they are able to do the duties required for cleaning every line and can do so effectively, safely, and without guidance. Works independently in the proper disassembly, cleaning, and assembly of machines. Inspects equipment after cleaning and sanitizing. Prevents bacteriological contamination of the cheese by properly sanitizing all the department area. From your EXPERTISE to oursKey responsibilities for this position include: Disassembles all the packaging equipment to clean and disinfect Follow and adhere to all safety and GMP procedures and policies Take necessary measures if people are performing unsafe acts or are in an unsafe environment. Perform daily swabs of equipmentReassembles all equipment taken apart and prepares equipment for production ensuring production will resume on clean equipment and in a timely manner. Maintain clean and organized work area by adhering to all housekeeping and GMP procedures Interact with associates to maintain efficient process flow Maintain open line of communication with all line workers, supervisors, and managers Perform sanitation duties as assigned by sanitation lead and supervisor Report problems and/or concerns to supervisors and/or management Attend departmental meetings and training as assigned by the supervisor and/or manager Perform other work duties as assignedRequirements From your STORY to oursQualified applicants will contribute the following:Education High School Diploma or completion of GED preferred by not required.Experience No experience required Experience in general cleaning, chemical handling and customer service preferred.Specialized Knowledge No specialized knowledge required. Skills / AbilitiesOral and written communication skills English language and Customer service skills Ability to manage multiple tasks at once with frequent interruptions Ability to work independently and be part of a team Knowledge of cleaning methods and cleaning productions Ability and willingness to adhere to attendance requirements, including regular and punctual attendance Ability to communicate, interact and work effectively and cooperatively with people from diverse ethnic and educational backgrounds Ability to recognize the importance of safety in the workplace, follow safety rules, practice safe work habits, utilize appropriate safety equipment and report unsafe work.Professional Certifications No professional certifications required
