Mortgage Accounting Clerk
Location: Williamsville, NY
Position Description:
* Daily import of the new loan information into Accounting software.
* Review daily bank activity and input data into various software programs.
* Compare the software programs reports to the bank totals to ensure they tie out.
* Distribute daily reports to necessary parties.
* Manage vendor invoices and coordinate integrations with IT department. Reconcile invoice totals to Accounting software. Identify and correct variances.
* Coordinate invoice payments through the Accounts Payable department.
* Ensure fees collected and paid out agree to loan documentation.
* Coordinate with other departments as needed.
* Perform inquiries via phone and email.
* Follow Company procedures, guidelines, and policies.
* Engage in Company values.
Qualifications:
* Two years of experience in data entry and account reconciliation.
* Applicants must be detail oriented.
* Applicants must possess the ability to think critically, and problem solve their way through situations.
* Accuracy of data input is of the highest importance.
* Strong Excel skills required.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
* This is a full-time position paying between $24-26 per hour based on experience, education and office location.
