Description Summary: The Logistics Outbound Shipping Clerk will be responsible for effectively managing communication between customers, transportation carriers and the Company. The individual will provide daily support through the answering of phones; processing BOL s, signing out drivers, entering in/out times in one network, filing of BOL S and creating UPS tracking numbers for shipments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Responsible for answering phone calls and providing customer assistanceResponsible for correctly signing out drivers Accountable for processing all BOL s Responsible for accurately communicating all carrier arrivals to DC supervision.Responsible for entering in and out times in one network.Actively maintain Logistics logs and keep information up to dateFile BOL S in number sequence for easy access if that shipment in needed.Need to create UPS tracking numbers within UPS shipping network.Participates in the process of keeping the shipping office in efficient working orderRequirementsQualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. We're ideally seeking individuals that are able to work a swing-shift and 2nd (afternoon/evening) shift. Education and/or Experience Ideally incumbent will possess a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
